Field Trip - USS Midway

Just got back from a nice little getaway to San Diego, CA. Had a little business (and pleasure) to tend to and I am excited about some of the new pieces of apparel that are coming along!

I was able to breakaway from a couple of meetings and some wedding festivities long enough for a short (and I do mean short) field trip. Now, I know it wasn't really a hockey related firld trip, but some things are bigger than the game.

I was fortunate enough to take a quick walk through the USS Midway Museum in downtown SD. The USS Midway is a decommisioned air craft carrier that was active in the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm. Before I get going on a history essay, I'll just share some pics I was able to grab.

Needless to say, if you get a chance to tour an air craft carrier...take it!
