The Handshake

It is that time of year for teams…

For better or for worse, seasons are coming to an end. Some will advance to play another day. Some will have to wait for next season. And some will never play again.  

We battle until the buzzer sounds, then we take a look up at the scoreboard to see where our journey will take us next. After we collect ourselves, we take part in the most respectful tradition in sports…The Handshake.

Sometimes we like it…sometimes we don’t. But whatever side of the win / loss column we fall, we respect our opponent that gave us their best on the ice. We respect the game.
