The All-Stache Team

The playoff beard. It is a timeless hockey tradition that has lasted through the generations. It is a piece of hockey lore and it will be around until the game ceases to exist. 

It is hockey. The playoff beard may in fact be the finest tradition in all of sports.

But you cannot really have a playoff beard without one important ingredient…the mustache. This fantastic piece of facial hair is essential to the beard, but it is often underutilized by itself.

So with that, I would like to introduce my All-Stache Team…

Now since we are honoring the Mustache, I thought that it was necessary to name an Honorary Captain to this tremendous team to help garner some PR. I lost a little sleep over this decision. I tried to grow a mustache myself (to no avail) to help channel an answer. And here is what I came up with…
