Holy Smokes!

Talk about an interesting situation. On Friday afternoon the Minnesota Wild’s equipment truck caught on fire!

All but 9 sets of equipment were lost to the blaze. The Wild staff had to scramble to get gear for the team to play Ottawa on Saturday night.

The team got the equipment needed to play the game with no delays. However, I am sure that the players were not comfortable playing in gear that they were not used to.

Needless to say, the Wild got smoked (good one I know) 4-1 by the Senators.
