PondRocket Partners with the USA Warriors Ice Hockey Program
Relationship to assist the awareness and fundraising initiatives of the USA Warriors
Phoenix, AZ (October 12, 2010) – PondRocket, the hockey apparel brand inspired by the passion and tradition of the game, is excited to announce a renewed partnership with the USA Warriors Ice Hockey Program. This partnership was conceived to help raise awareness for the USA Warriors Program and generate funds to offset equipment and travel expenses for the organization. During the months of October and November, PondRocket will be donating 25% of all apparel purchases to the USA Warriors Ice Hockey Program.
“I cannot express how honored I am to have this relationship with the USA Warriors. This organization is the most inspiring group of hockey players that I have ever known” said Ben Weber, President of PondRocket. “We cannot thank these players enough for the sacrifices they have made. Assisting the initiatives of this organization is a privilege that I do not take lightly.”
Bob Banach, president of the USA Warriors Ice Hockey Program, says the vision for the program is to start teams in cities across the country.
“We started with Walter Reed and Bethesda because so many wounded soldiers are treated here when they return from the war zones,” he says. “We also want to branch out across the country to include people who have left the military. They’re back home, back at their jobs, and we’d like them all to be able to play in this program.”
